Top 5 Biggest JAV Disappoints of 2026 (so far)

Noa Haruna is obviously a big favorite of mine. I was eager to give this a watch but it ultimately made for a sour experience. We start out on the right foot at least with a pretty enticing setup. It casts Noa as a tutor to an older man. She has a very bratty attitude and decides to tease him for her own enjoyment. This of course leads to plenty of tittyfucking and eventually full-on sex. Noa is a solid fit for this role especially with her cheeky persona here and lively facial expressions. Her wardrobe is really nice too on top of her looking as juicy as ever. Those big tits are in top-notch shape. So what's the problem you might ask? One major issue I have is with the action.

We get two dedicated paizuri scenes which should be nice. However, both end in a lousy fake cumshot that just ruins them. In fact, there's not a single real load throughout the entire film. I know I can be a stickler on this but c'mon man that's just pathetic. Now there are two sex scenes at least although neither are that impressive. The last scene, at best, is fine with some decent moments here and there. The first sex scene though is painfully frustrating. Not only is the lighting weak but she keeps her schoolgirl uniform on for the entire scene obscuring her chest almost entirely. It gets even better as more than half the shots focus on her ass...why?? What are we doing? This had potential to be a real banger but instead falls flat on its face.

It's unfortunately been awhile since I really last enjoyed a new Mahiro film. Sadly, that didn't change with this one. I really thought it had potential but alas. The premise is interesting enough casting Mahiro as a stern OL boss who also happens to privately work at a blowjob salon. You go in to relieve some stress and are meant with a surprise to see Mahiro there. She begins to berate and mock you endlessly leading to her sucking you off and eventually full-on sex. It's a solid setup and I do think Mahiro has the persona to pull this off. However, it really falls flat on its face. For starters, she's already done this exact premise once before, START-275, just last year. This one pales in comparison for multiple reasons. The production values leave a lot to be desired. There's really only two different settings for the entire film with each featuring the same lighting setup.

To add to that, the lighting in the office setting is pretty flat and stale. This all results in the film feeling quite repetitious, especially with the constant flipping off the camera that permeates every scene. It quickly becomes obnoxious. I also wasn't a fan of her keeping the full bunnygirl outfit on in the first sex scene that completely obscures her chest. Speaking of action, it's not much better. Sure we get three sex scenes which is nice but the first is ruined by the issue I just mentioned. The other two are decent at least although severely weighed down by the constant fakery. Fake cumshots and even fake dicks are everywhere. Not to mention the film ends with a lame blowjob scene that fails to leave a lasting impression. Cobble all this together and you've got a massive letdown. The cover is a perfect representation of my thoughts, a huge thumbs down.

An ass focused Ichika video? How could it go wrong? This should've been a slam dunk on paper but sadly falls way short of expectations. As the title states, we get 30 different scenes(yes that's right) of Ichika showcasing her booty in a wide range of different outfits. Most aren't anything too unique as many just boil down to a pair of panties or a thong pulled over to the side. There is the occasional pantyhose and denim shorts which are nice. My biggest issue here is that the film goes for a quantity over quality approach. Sure it's getting such a huge array of scenes but none are fulfilling enough to whet your appetite. The first handful are just her posing with her ass towards the camera in the same room with the same angles while literally nothing happens.

It's a problem that persists throughout the entire video. So many scenes amount to nothing such as a few facesitting or solo masturbation scenes with a dildo. Even the facesitting isn't too enjoyable thanks to the middling camerawork and lackluster lighting. There are also some assjob scenes but those suffer from some lousy fake cumshots. And while we do get a couple sex scenes, they are terribly paced. Far too short and just jump right into it. I often had to rewind to make sure I didn't miss something. MIDA-506 is a film that bites off more than it can chew. Cut it the scene count from 30 to maybe 10 to give them more room to breathe. The old stating "less is more" applies perfectly here.

I recently became a big fan of Moka Haruhi after one of my latest First Impressions posts. This premise sounded pretty enticing so I was eager to check it out thinking it could be a real banger. Instead, it's a real dud that misses the mark by a wide margin. For what it's worth, the plot is pretty great. It casts Moka as a slutty fortune-teller who seems to give out fortune reading by inspecting dicks. It's absurd but humorous. This leads to her jerking him off and eventually having sex. Sounds good on paper however the execution is way off. One issue is that there's only one actor throughout the entire film. This is a perfect setup for multiple actors getting different readings leading into an array of unique situations.

This is an even bigger issue because it means there are a TON of fake cumshots and even copious fake dick implementation. It's very obnoxious and ruins many of the scenes. Speaking of obnoxious, I could do without the excessive body oil in the last scene. It's unfortunately a staple of this particular director. My man must have a serious fetish for it. Another annoying aspect is the fact that she chest remains clothed for every single scene minus the finale. This happens in many of her other films too and it's so frustrating. They always seem to want to hide her bolt-ons. Now I will say her performance is solid and I do like the lighting with its purple accents. These few positives are not nearly enough to salvage this film though. Way to take an interesting setup and fuck it up.

A wholly unique setup from S1? That's right! Does it deliver on its setup? Absolutely not! This one hurts even more as it was her last video given her soft retirement(as of this post). The premise is admittedly simple but effective. We see Momoka play a flirtatious driving instructor who seduces her students during their driving lessons as she attempts to relieve their stress and free their minds. On paper, this sounds great. Not to mention the cover is equally nice as well. But that's where most of the positives end sadly. There are many issue with this film with one of the biggest being the lousy production values. This is just flat out not a pleasant film to watch, visually. The lighting for example ranges from barely passable to outright awful. Most scenes just look drab and dull with the fourth scene being the absolute worst. It's filmed inside a car but from the outside it looks like it was filmed on the surface of Mars or something.

The camerawork isn't too hot either with many scenes taking place inside a car meaning the views are often cramped and only from a few select angles. The action isn't anything of note either with a few "meh" sex scenes, a mediocre tittyfuck and two blowjob scenes. Not to mention all the cumshots appear to be fake. To top it all off, her performance is extremely lackluster. She's never been known to be a strong performer and that definitely rings true here. Everything from her expressions to her enthusiasm and engagement are very low level. You really need more of a spark to pull off this seductive performance that is needed from this setup and Momoka falls way short of that bar. It's all the more depressing as this is possibly her final video ever. It seems she may be making a comeback at some point which I hope is true because this is a terrible way to go out.
