Oppaira's JAV Watchlist Review - October 2025 ft. Jun Megami and Hana Kurosaki

Hey guys welcome to my October Watchlist Review. Time to go see which of my selections from October were worth watching and which were duds. Let's get right into it.

This video blew past a lot of my expectations from Jun. I've always thought she was capable of a performance this good and damn did she deliver. Upbeat, tons of smiles, always feeling like she was enjoying herself. Whether playing with your nipples or her own she seemed very enthusiastic and didn't whine too much as I've seen. Of the four scenes, three of them had great themes, from nurse to bunny to just casual morning sex. You'd be surprised how much waking up to Jun ready to cuddle and tease you could be. The lighting was great, the outfits did their thing, and it really just came together as well as I could have hoped for. It's not without some random faults, like a lame first scene of her stroking a dildo or some weak facials, but it really did its job. I think maybe they could have just slapped together three scenes and I'd have been a little happier, and if I keep in mind that the video is still two hours even without that scene, I realize that it really does just make the cut for being a banger.

Ever feel like a good plot didn't suit an actress? That's definitely what happened here because I really wasn't in for a monotone Hana. I mean, she moaned well (heavier panting and not whiny) and she kept up good dialogue/eye contact but it just didn't feel like it was right for her. It felt like I wanted her to be more assertive, or really if anything, mix it up. Give me some scenes where she's a hard dom slapping him silly then another where she's being cute and kind. The video had a significant blowjob theme, and while she was good at standard blowjobs I also just wanted more of her deepthroating. She could do a decent job of it too when she tried but it was not that common and instead it just felt like it was paced awkwardly. Still had good doctor vibes with her looks even if she was tanned to a level I'm not sure I have ever seen. I feel like there was a way to make this work right for her but they missed the mark, and what could have truly been special was just a solid video instead.

Yuria is a power hungry boss whose pleasures in life are treating her employees like dirt and touching herself at the office. One night while Kimura is working late he overhears some sounds and finds Yuria masturbating in her office. I feel like Yuria is an actress that needs to be told what to do because you get glimmers of good things but it's never all there together. The plot was great but damn did the framing not come together. I haven't read the original manga but I really would have liked to see a bit of a bitchy attitude continue. Like yeah you caught me, fine, but I won't like it. You saw that a little in the washroom scene when she brushed his hand off as he tried to deepthroat her, or was annoyed at his smelly cock. That's the energy I really needed throughout the whole video and instead it was just very generic. Sure, you got some OL content so that's great, and even despite the performance not really being there I was all about that scene. Even in the stall, I can't say I disliked Yuria's thicc body. Like holy hell does that thiccness really suit her, she wears it well and the video filmed it quite nicely. I certainly wouldn't call this video a flop, I just feel like it missed the mark a little bit. It's probably the fault of the source itself but if it was done the way I think it should have it could have been a really wonderful film.

A video can be good for all sorts of reasons just the same way it can be bad, and this one was a bit of both. Mayu's performance felt weak even if it suited the film a decent amount. I can imagine being nude at work to not be that fun of a time but nude OL is a great theme. Yeah maybe it lacks some of the actual pros of an OL video (because let's face it, lingerie at the office is not as nice as a hot OL uniform) but then again it's still office content and that will pretty much always be good. The name tag on the lanyard was quite nice just to give you something for the theme when she wound up being nude. I also liked that it had a lot of variety in settings, they covered more than enough to keep me happy. Even the scenes themselves were varied, from random spontaneous sex scenes to quick foreplay and even a threesome in the end. Mayu didn't really show me all that much but I accept a bit just because the framing put her in that space. At the end of the day it got the job done on the office lady content, but it was far from a banger even if still decently enjoyable.

Julia’s life at home is boring so she takes up a part time job at a cafe. While working she runs into Oda, an ex-boyfriend. He’s in the exact same boat as she is and the two of them rekindle their relationship. While the sex starts out as just a means to cope, the two of them find each other rekindling that spark from before.

Julia films always get me. What I mean is that I go into it not expecting that much because it's Julia. I don't even know what it is with her but there's just something that keeps me coming back. Kind of like how this video ended where they almost wound up together. The coffee shop was a nice backdrop to the plot of them reuniting and taking a break from their awful lives at home. It had a decent enough mix of things like sex in the stairwell and in the car briefly just to spice it up. Which, I think was the spice it really needed. The backroom action, the love hotel scene, like they just came across as fine. Well, maybe the love hotel was a little under and the backroom a little above, but neither of them were spicy (which granted, I don't expect that from Julia). Sure Julia could kiss a little bit and all of that but the moaning was pretty bad and it just felt like it lacked something special. It wasn't bad in my mind but it wasn't inspiring either.

The year's almost over, just two more months of releases before we get to my top 100. I feel like this year has had a few good videos, nothing that truly blew my socks off like I'd see in previous years. But hey, there's still a couple of months for that to happen so hopefully we get something. Or maybe I'm just flat out wrong about this year, how has it been for you?
