BREAKING: Yua Mikami's Crypto Debacle, Akane Mitani nears Retirement & MUTEKI's New Recruit Is A Hidden Gem!

Here's a rundown of some of the top stories we had our eyes on in May
Yua Mikami's MemeCoin TANKS! Wipes Away Investors' Wealth In Seconds
Is there anything left for Yua Mikami to do now that she has forayed into the crypto space and is offering meme coins to the general public? Her newly launched meme coin, $MIKAMI, saw a meteoric rise and is now gaining clout for all the wrong reasons.
For those living under the rocks, Yua just casually dropped a tweet on her latest offering, $MIKAMI, a meme coin on April 30, 2025. For the geeky JAV aficionados, it’s built on the Solana blockchain and is being marketed as a bridge between creators and fans, aiming to foster a token-based community. Mikami, who boasts over 10 million followers across social media, combined claimed her latest offering, $MIKAMI, to be a fusion of entertainment and innovation.
I’d be lying if I said the coin’s presale was nothing short of spectacular. Over 72 hours, it raised more than 23,000 SOL, equivalent to approximately $3.47 million at the time. The presale attracted over 17,560 buyers, with the project filtering out over 21,000 spam transactions involving deposits of less than 0.002 SOL.

Now, let us understand the economics behind the $MIKAMI token. As it was designed to ensure long-term commitment and community engagement, the total supply is said to be capped at 69 million (pun intended) tokens, with the following distribution: 50% allocated to Yua Mikami, locked until 2069, 20% reserved for the presale, 15% designated for liquidity, 10% allocated to community rewards
and 5% set aside for marketing efforts
Like most crypto projects, this structure was proposed by the management to create scarcity and drive demand, with Yua committed to a long-term lockup signaling her commitment to the project's longevity.
However, the optimism was short-lived, and like most meme coins, this one nose-dived as well. On May 8, 2025, mere hours after the coin's official launch and airdrop, the coin’s overall market value plummeted by over 80%, dropping from a peak of $0.828 to just $0.10. Those who jumped in earlier faced losses of up to 60%, as large sell-offs and low liquidity fueled the crash.
The sell-off could have been caused by several factors pointing towards low liquidity allocation: With only 15% of tokens allocated to liquidity, the coin was highly susceptible to price volatility during significant sell-offs. Moreover, large investors who accumulated tokens during the presale quickly offloaded their holdings, exacerbating the price drop.
As was expected, the crash sparked outrage among investors and fans alike. X was flooded with complaints, with many accusing the project of prioritizing large holders and orchestrating a stealthy launch at 4 AM, a time when most Asian participants were inactive.
One user vented, "The Yua Mikami coin was a real piece of trash. It looked like a coin to fool people into thinking it would go up, There should be a law against making coins for sexy actresses. This was suddenly listed at 4:00 in the morning with no notice. Yua's coin is garbage." on X.
$MIKAMI coin live chart
Adding to the controversy, the project explicitly prohibited marketing or selling to domestic users due to regulatory restrictions in Japan. This made a lot of her fans feel left out.
$MIKAMI meme coin debacle serves as a cautionary tale about the risks associated with celebrity-backed cryptocurrencies. While Mikami's fame undoubtedly contributed to the initial hype, the lack of robust infrastructure and clear utility led to a swift loss of investor confidence.
This incident underscores the importance of thorough due diligence and skepticism when investing in meme coins, especially those tied to celebrity figures.
It's unclear what the future holds for Yua’s creator token. While the initial vision of connecting creators and fans through blockchain technology remains compelling, the project's credibility has been significantly undermined. Rebuilding trust will require substantial effort, including transparent communication, addressing community concerns, and potentially revisiting the tokenomics to ensure stability.
For Yua Mikami, this venture into the crypto world has been a stark reminder that fame alone cannot guarantee success in the volatile landscape of digital currencies. As investors and fans await further developments, the $MIKAMI coin stands as a testament to the perils of hype-driven markets and the importance of substance over spectacle.
Akane Mitani Nears Retirement, Wraps Up Filming Her Farewell JAV
Just as we were getting over the news of Moe Amatsuka bidding her final goodbye with a farewell JAV this summer at ZENRA, we weren’t ready for another explicit bomb from Akane Mitani, one of the recognizable faces in the JAV industry whom Shimiken had found so exciting that he asked her out on a date. Akari recently tweeted that she has officially wrapped filming for her farewell JAV.
Yes, it’s true.
Akane, formerly known as Akari Mitani, recently announced via X that she’s completed filming not one, but two retirement JAVs, one for each of the studios where she held exclusive contracts: DAS and Honnaka. This was expected as her loyalty to the studios that helped shape her image and career.
"I’m very happy to be an AV actress," Akane wrote in a heartfelt post. "I’m also very happy that I worked hard and had a happy ending. Thank you to everyone in this industry who has supported me. Every experience I’ve had is an extremely valuable asset."

Fans may recall that Akane actually announced her retirement plans nearly a year ago, back in July 2024. She gave her fans a generous one-year runway before her official exit, making room for her final act, this summer.
Since her debut, about two years ago, she has appeared in more than 310 works, including solo, joint, and edited works.
Let’s dive back to how Akari turned into Akane in just a matter of months.
She jumped into the scene as Akari Mitani. Her early days were marked by soft charm and a refined sensuality that quickly made her a household name. But the name "Akari" came courtesy of her then-agency, AllPro, which had built her from the ground up. When she decided to part ways with them last year—an emotional exit mirroring that of her close friend and fellow AV star Ayaka Yamagishi—things got a little messy.
After cutting ties with AllPro, Akari wasn’t allowed to keep the name that had become synonymous with her stardom. Legally and professionally, it belonged to the agency, not her. But instead of taking a break, she reemerged under ListarPro with a slightly altered moniker: Akane Mitani.
Aligning herself with LiStarPro, the same agency that took her close pal Ayaka under its wing after she departed from AllPro, Akane took control of her narrative in a way that was as bold as it was brave. It wasn’t easy—few transitions of this kind are—but she handled it with grace and determination.
Insiders say that the switch wasn’t without its emotional toll. “She was upset. You could tell it wasn’t the way she envisioned things ending,” a source close to the matter shared. “But she kept her head up, and in the end, she owned the change.”
Her performances will give you glimpses of Ai Uehara as she confessed to finding an idol in her. Besides, our in-house big tiddy connoiseur Oppaira has likened her performances to that of Kurea Hasumi, who took her under her wings, so you’ll see her keeping up on her facial expressions intact even when she was in a hard pounding from her fellow male actor.
Over her time in the industry, Akane has built a career that strikes a rare balance between performance artistry and quiet dignity. She’s not just been prolific; she’s been intentional. From her early days as Akari Mitani to her final releases as Akane, she remained fiercely loyal to her studios, DAS! and Honnaka—both known for their ability to capture nuanced, emotionally resonant performances.
It’s left to see what good comes out of her farewell JAV, would that be everything fans could hope for... intimate, nostalgic, and full of her signature energy that made her beloved.
I believe one of the JAVs would be an ode to her journey in the industry, featuring callbacks to earlier roles and signature moments that longtime fans will recognize instantly, more like how FALENO celebrated Moe Amatsuka.
Though the filming is done, Akane isn’t disappearing overnight. Far from it. Between now and her official goodbye in July, she’ll be holding a series of fan meet-and-greets that will allow her fans to catch up with the 28-year-old for one last time. As she mentioned, "There are still many films that have not been released. We will also be holding many events and participating in other activities until July, so please look forward to it!"
“She wanted this to be a proper sendoff,” one user tweetd “Not just for her, but for the fans who’ve supported her through every twist and turn.”
I’m already vouching for this to be the “Farewell Tour of the Year,” and if the initial ticket demand is any indication, they aren’t wrong.
As always, it compels me to ask, what’s next for Akane Mitani?
Will she follow the path of her mentor like Kurea and transition into, maybe mentoring, managing a club, or simply taking a well-earned break from the spotlight?
So far, she’s playing it close to the chest. But no points for guessing that wherever she goes, her fanbase follows, and that includes our in-house tiddy connoisseur, Oppaira
One viral comment on X summed up the mood perfectly: “Thank you for everything, Akane. You made us laugh, cry, and fall in love... sometimes all in one scene. We’ll miss you more than you know.”
Mion Sakuragi Made A CAMEO Just To Tease Her Retirement
I bet no one saw this coming, as Mion Sakuragi made a sudden comeback earlier this month. After months of radio silence, the FALENOstar exclusive appeared on X with a tweet hinting at a possible retirement.
“Would you still love me even if I’m no longer a JAV actress…?”
No warning, no follow-up, and no context, the tweet was a mic drop that left her 500k+ followers on the platform stunned. Tell me it was nothing but a moment of late-night introspection?
If that wasn’t all, fellow JAV actress Rie Miyagi decided to add fuel to the fire by jumping into the conversation, replying publicly with a direct question: “Wait, are you saying you’ve retired?”
But as fans were left bewildered, Mion has yet to respond.
For those who’ve followed her throughout her career, this sudden ambiguity feels both shocking and oddly fitting. To sharpen your memory, Mion burst onto the scene as an exclusive actress under the FALENO label in March 2023, portraying a shy, fresh-faced 20-year-old student. In a genre that thrives on fantasy and persona, she stood out with her soft-spoken demeanor and understated charm.
Our in-house writer FriedChikan mentioned earlier that the Faleno rookie is certainly a looker with her pretty eyes, pointed face, big round ears, wavy brunette hair, and that nose. An upturned nose that is very distinct, and fans quickly latched on to her as the next “it” girl of the JAV industry.
But lately Mion wasn’t quite active, her last known JAV, released on March 10, 2025, was a collaboration under the ROCKET studio banner, in a quirky time-stop genre piece alongside four other actresses. Since then nothing much has come from the 23 year old. No promotional posts, no public appearances, no teasing of upcoming projects. It was as if time really had stopped for Mion, both on screen and off.

またみんなに会う機会つくりたいなぁ。
And now, this tweet, as if she zapped through time just to post this.
I believe her contract expired, which maybe the reason why she remains discreet. However, it remains to be seen if she’ll be shifting into a new field. Perhaps cosplaying? Or is this the end of her journey in the industry altogether?
Speculation has spread like wildfire on fan forums and subreddits, where theories range from the believable to the bizarre. “She might be in a relationship and wants to retire respectfully,” one user posited. It could also be, the tweet was a test to see how loyal her fanbase remains if she steps away from the industry altogether.
Whatever the truth is, one thing is certain: Mion Sakuragi knows how to keep her audience on their toes. Whether she returns with a bang or fades quietly into the background, her impact on the industry and the hearts of her fans is undeniable.
As of this writing, no official statement has been released. But in the ever-dramatic world of JAV, silence often speaks the loudest.
Stay tuned. This story is far from over.
There's More to MUTEKI's Fresh New Face Than What Meets The Eye!
It’s not often that I mention industry debutantes, but this one caught my eye! While a lot of our readers might confuse her for a fresh face, she isn’t exactly one. More like a blast from the past, Rui Shido is a former star turned gravure model, and now, a soon-to-be JAV debutante, who is in the news for all the right reasons.
And behind all this is MUTEKI, you gotta give credits to the studio for launching the careers of big-time artists from mainstream to JAV.
With a track record that includes launching the likes of Yua Mikami, Shoko Takahashi, and Miharu Usa, MUTEKI is not your average JAV studio. They know how to transform everyday idols into JAV stars. And now, it's Rui’s turn under the lights.
So, who exactly is this girl? Let’s decipher in our report.
For beginners, Rui’s story reads like a script you'd expect from a drama, not real life. She first caught the public eye at the age of 8, performing under the name Yuuri Rukawa. As a star, she became a household name thanks to regular appearances on NHK’s Himitsu no Chika Rando programme. charming the domestic audience with her sweet innocence and screen presence.
But as her popularity was peaking, she disappeared from the spotlight.
Prioritizing her education, Rui stepped away from showbiz entirely, pursuing university and eventually settling into a career as a cram school teacher. It was a grounded move that signalled her days in entertainment were over. But oh, how wrong was she!
Bored with her life, she quietly reemerged under the new name Rui Shido in 2023 as a gravure model, a far cry from her teaching gig. Her early magazine shoots, while not fully nude, were enough to make jaws drop. Rui capitalised on the newfound fame by becoming a regular fixture in top publications like FRIDAY, stunning fans with her slim, alluring figure, seductive gaze, and an undeniable I-cup bust that had folks glued to the screen.
Yet even then, no one could have predicted what came next.

本日MUTEKIからA▽デビューを発表する←今ここ pic.twitter.com/JEqUhnVWUO
In March 2025, Rui announced what many thought was her final gravure release. Fans were left speculating about her future. But within a month, on May 2, she broke the internet: Rui Shido was making her AV debut—and she is doing it with MUTEKI under TEK-102, set to drop on June 3, 2025.
Make no mistake, this isn’t just another debut. This is a meticulously calculated, long-awaited transformation of a mainstream actress to JAV. MUTEKI has a reputation for choosing debutantes with “baggage”, not the infamous kind, but the kind that comes with past fame, intrigue, and a built-in fanbase. And our girl here fits the bill perfectly.
She’s already walked the tightrope between fame and mystery. She's undergone a public identity change. She’s transitioned from TV to the education sector to the glamour of gravure. And now, she’s stepping into the heat of the adult industry. And fans are obsessed.
Some long-time fans of her NHK days are in disbelief, struggling to reconcile the sweet-faced star they remember with the sultry goddess appearing in teaser trailers and promo shots.
“This is the most anticipated debut since Yua Mikami,” one user wrote on an AV enthusiast forum. “She’s got that backstory that makes the fantasy even more real.”
So far, the trailer reveals little, but just enough to keep fans salivating. Expect a mix of elegance and eroticism, classic MUTEKI-style. Rui’s performance, insiders hint, is “surprisingly confident,” suggesting that this wasn’t a decision made on a whim.
And given her past as a performer, it’s no stretch to believe she’s ready for the spotlight, regardless of the genre.
With a body measuring 90-60-90cm, standing at 158cm, and boasting an I-cup bust, Rui has the physical appeal to make an immediate impact. But it’s her story, her transformation, and her audacity that’s turning her debut into an event.
And again, let’s not forget what launching with MUTEKI means. This is the same studio that turned actresses into JAV icons. Debuting with MUTEKI means you’re being positioned as more than just talent, you’re a potential icon.
Rui Shido’s debut isn’t just another addition to the ever-growing catalog of AV releases. It’s a cultural moment, a full-circle transformation of a former star, a symbol of innocence, now embracing a role that’s anything but.
From primetime television to gravure magazine covers, and now onto the adult video stage, Rui’s journey has captivated and shocked fans alike. Whether you’re here for nostalgia, curiosity, or raw anticipation, one thing’s for sure: June 3 can’t come fast enough.
