In the early hours of March 6, the former JAV actress took to X with a message that instantly sent her followers into cheering for her. After months of speculation, whispers, and whatnot, Maria confirmed that she had safely welcomed her first newborn into the world.

“I’ve finally given birth,” she wrote, while brimming with equal parts joy & excitement, “my newborn and I are safe. He’s healthy at 3.4kg.”

Finally, the wait is over. Maria Nagai has now officially delivered, and her new arrival weighs in at a very respectable 3.4 kilograms. Enough to compete at a UFC featherweight bout? Just kidding.

Fans who had been following her pregnancy closely felt like the announcement took forever. I had previously reported on her pregnancy, and ever since then, fans had been watching her socials like hawks, waiting for that inevitable update.

But the road to it turns out to be not exactly smooth sailing for Maria.

Maria revealed that the days leading up to the birth were filled with uncertainty and something she candidly shared with her followers.

“This was my first natural birth, and I was nervous and anxious,” she admitted. “But my eagerness to meet him kept me going.”

At one point, her unexpected absence from social media had fans genuinely worried. Rumors started circulating in our JAV Discord that she had already given birth in secret, but Maria later clarified the situation, and it was far more complicated than anyone realized.

Because of gestational diabetes, doctors initially planned to induce labor. However, things didn’t go according to schedule. “Because I have gestational diabetes, they were planning to use induction medication to induce labor,” she explained. “But my cervix didn’t dilate at all, so my planned hospital stay was postponed.”

Then, just when uncertainty was beginning to creep in, nature finally took its course.“Just as I was anxiously wondering when he would come out,” she wrote, “contractions started naturally.”

What followed was a marathon: “Trial labor began at 4:30 AM,” she revealed. “Time passed, and the contractions gradually became shorter and shorter.”

Hour after hour went by, and then, after an entire day of labor, the big moment finally arrived.

“After a full day, my cervix was finally fully dilated,” Maria shared, before delivering the line that made her followers collectively exhale: “He was born at 6:15 AM.”

And if you’re wondering what that first moment was like when she finally met him, let me tell you that she couldn’t hold back. “Seeing him for the first time was truly adorable,” she gushed. “He’s so adorable that it makes all the pain of childbirth seem like a wash.”

The tweet, which included a short video clip from the former JAV actress, quickly gained widespread attention, surpassing 2.4 million views within hours.

Kaho, born May 20, 1991, first gained prominence in the JAV industry before transitioning to mainstream digital content creation, which includes a stint with Fantia as well. She retired from JAV several years ago and has since built a successful career as a bilingual streamer (speaking both Japanese and English), cosplayer, published author, radio host, and occasional voice actress.

Ever since Kaho quit filming JAVs, she launched her Twitch channel in June 2020, where she now has over 344,000 followers and regularly streams gaming sessions, cosplay showcases, and casual chats. She has since published a memoir detailing her experiences in the adult industry.
