As shocking as this is to me, to most fans, Himari is retiring, guys!

Honestly, I couldn’t process this whole idea of her retiring so early when I saw Himari’s latest tweet.

Fresh off her appearance at TRE as a booth guest, the MOODYZ exclusive actress revealed that she had just wrapped filming for what she called her “MOODYZ final JAV.” Needless to say, fans were caught completely off guard.

In her message, Himari thanked everyone who has supported her throughout her career by purchasing her JAVs, saying that she owes her career as an exclusive actress entirely to her fans. Himari also shared that the films she’s already completed will continue rolling out over the next six months, and emphasized that she poured everything she had into every single production.

But what came as a shocking revelation to me is that, during the filming of this final MOODYZ JAV, she revealed that she suffered heatstroke. One veteran male performer reportedly fought through severe thigh cramps just to finish the shoot, while even the director chose to wear the same sweltering costume they had on throughout production.

Reading that, you can’t help but appreciate how much work goes into a film JAV that most people only see once it’s finished. That’s exactly why Himari hopes fans will purchase it. To her, they’re more than just JAVs. They’re the result of everyone’s hard work.

But then… This is where I also got a little confused. Because after talking about her “retirement,” Himari also mentioned that she’s lined up plenty of fan meetings and livestreams this year so she can spend even more time with everyone. If she’s retiring… Why does it sound like she’s preparing to be even more active?

The wording honestly left me scratching my head, and apparently I wasn’t the only one. Even her fans seemed unsure what she actually meant.

Normally, asking her agency would probably clear things up. But with Mine's currently going through an agency handover, it hardly feels like the right time to bother them over speculation.

So instead, I started looking at the bigger picture. I don’t think this is the end of Himari’s JAV career. If she were leaving the industry entirely, I feel like she would’ve simply announced her retirement. Rather, she specifically referred to it as her MOODYZ retirement and ended her message by thanking the studio.

That sounds much more like wrapping up her exclusive contract than the end of her JAV career, but who knows, maybe she is actually retiring from JAV.

Looking back, I’d say she’s already had an impressive run. Since debuting in 2024, Himari has spent well over two years as an exclusive actress for one of the industry’s biggest studios, MOODYZ… a feat that’s becoming increasingly difficult with so many newcomers entering the scene every year.
