Alice Nanase FINALLY Cuts Ties With Her Agency Following Year-Long Rift
Alice might not have replied to Konan’s counterstatement yet, but she definitely rocked my world with a casual tweet. At precisely the moment most of us were contemplating lunch rather than some out-of-the-blue drama, Alice dropped a bomb on X: “Quit the agency! So I’m unemployed right now.”
Lol, and she made it look so casual without a disclaimer.

だから無職なう
Now, to the casual fan, it might have sounded like impulsive, but to those of us who’ve been following Alice for months, that tweet didn’t read like shock… it was inevitable. Because, trust me, the cracks didn’t appear overnight.
Let me take you back to mid-year 2025, when rumors over a rift between Alice and her agency were doing the rounds. Alice and agency ACT were quietly and then not-so-quietly clashing over terms she allegedly called “unreasonable.” The disagreement escalated fast, and insiders were whispering that Alice wanted to walk out immediately, contract be damned. For a brief moment, her fandom held its breath. But then, as if nothing had happened, the two sides announced everything had been “resolved,” and Alice stayed put. But even then… one could feel it. The air never cleared. The storm just retreated behind the clouds.
But in late November, it finally unleashed.
Of course, the official version is that they’ve simply “gone their separate ways.” Cute. But you know how these fans are, they simply don’t buy it. So let me present a much more believable claim: I believe that ACT simply couldn’t keep up with Alice anymore. Let’s be fair, Alice has been pushing over her weight, and her agency just can’t keep up with it. As some fans repeatedly pointed out the obvious, while other actresses were booking international gigs, Alice had virtually zero overseas presence. Zero. For someone with her momentum? Practically, it’s a career sabotage. And if it really turned out that ACT’s limitations became her limitations, then I’m glad she left.
And here’s where it gets interesting. Alice didn’t express bitterness or rage through her tweets. Instead, she kept it clean & poised. Which tells me one thing: she’s already thinking three steps ahead. You don’t walk out into unemployment unless you either have something lined up or are staging a power play. And if I had to bet my morning coffee? I’d say she’s doing both.
Because here’s the truth, no one wants to say out loud: in today’s rapidly evolving JAV landscape, someone like Alice with a plethora of experience is choosing to adapt. Whether a new agency picks her up in days or she shocks the industry with an independent career, one thing is painfully obvious: This woman didn’t fall off a boat. She is already up to bigger things.
We’ll definitely watch out for her!
Miyu Aizawa Is Having The Best Year Of Her Career After Ditching S1
Just when I thought I’d seen every plot twist that 2025 could throw at us, along came Miyu Aizawa, walked away from “exclusive” status, and somehow got more famous. And you might be wondering whether I’m exaggerating… absolutely not!
For almost the entire year, one name has ruled the FANZA rankings without any doubt that is Kanna Seto for you. Nine months of absolute dominance and chart-topping hits while the rest of the industry trailed behind her like shadows on a sunny day. Nobody was supposed to dethrone her. Then arrived October, and surprisingly Miyu Aizawa casually slipped into the number-one spot, sending Kanna tumbling down to third place, even below Mio Ishikawa. It was the moment every eagle-eyed fan witnessed and gasped, myself included.

And while November wasn’t as lucky for the 22-year-old, she still held a very smug and secure number three above actresses backed by big-budget exclusivity contracts. If that doesn’t scream “plot twist of the year,” I don’t know what does.
So naturally, I had to ask the question everyone whispered, but nobody dared to say out loud, How did Miyu Aizawa, once buried inside S1’s overcrowded roster, become the most successful idol to ditch exclusivity in 2025? Let’s rewind for a second.
When Miyu debuted at S1 in 2023, the response was… fine. Not bad. But not buzzworthy either. “Solid but forgettable”. I bet she was affected by the curse of debuting with a studio that already had big names in its roster. There were giants everywhere around her, and she simply didn’t burn bright enough to be noticed. Most girls in that situation do the safe thing: ride the contract, stay quiet, and keep collecting the monthly paycheck. But not Miyu.
Instead of settling, she did the unthinkable as she refused a renewal from S1 and walked away. No meltdown or scandal was involved. Just a 22-year-old’s ambition wrapped in a polite exit. In an interview later, she admitted she left even though the studio wanted to keep her. If that doesn’t give off main-character energy, I don’t know what does.
From January to June 2025, Miyu held a near-permanent spot in the Fanza Top 10, going toe-to-toe with Saika Kawakita, Seto Kanna, and Mio Ishikawa, the industry’s untouchable trifecta. The girl who used to float in the Top 40 in late 2024 suddenly became a Top 10 regular chart topper. Numbers don’t lie, and this wasn’t just mere luck.

While most non-exclusive actresses drown themselves in releases for making it to the FANZA charts, Miyu did the unthinkable: She picked the right JAVs, not more JAVs. She balanced physical and online distribution, not just whichever paid more upfront. She spread herself across studios, not to overwork, but to maximise visibility. She worked harder, yes. But she also worked smarter. And the charts rewarded her for it.
When asked about shooting across multiple studios, Miyu once said every studio has its own “environment and joy,” and that every new project makes her feel fresh and excited. A weird flex, perhaps, but undeniably authentic. She’s not chasing jobs for survival. She’s chasing them because she loves filming JAVs. And the fans always end up showering the ones who make them feel something through the screens.
So now we must ask, Is Miyu Aizawa the most successful idol to abandon the “exclusive” label in 2025? Every sign points to yes, and she shows no signs of slowing down. Where she goes next is still a mystery, but if I’ve learned anything from watching Miyu climb those charts, it’s this. She didn’t leave S1 to escape obscurity. She left to chase stardom. And judging from the consistent appearance on FANZA charts, she was hella right about it!
