As a big fan of long-established series, even I can admit it's fine for them to sometimes take a different route. Of course when the setup is literally a camera in a surprisingly well-lit van parked gosh knows where in Tokyo and you're pretty much focused on amateurs perhaps a 'navigator' to help things progress, you may be limited on the experimentation front. I salute Director Haruna though for keeping within the realm of the concept and by swapping out the standard female navigator the main series is known for with a 'lady navigator' (make note of that because while "newhalf" adorns the box cover and thus the title of this update, to the best of my knowledge--which is above average as I, the site owner, subtitled it--"newhalf" is never mentioned in the actual movie!).

Technically in NEWHALF NANPA WITH DIRECTOR HARUNA, we get two newhalfs though sadly unlike others in the series (yes, there's more than one!), they don't ever star in the same scene. That isn't a big detractor from a movie that otherwise sticks to what DIRECTOR HARUNA movies are known for: fun, fun, lesbian fun in the van. And yes, I say "lesbian fun" because at least in the bookend scenes, we get two amateur friends who do engage in some pretty passionate deep kissing; the latter scene gets special mention here as not only do they make out like there's no tomorrow, but do so in the nude and let me tell you there's nothing hotter than two attractive Japanese women stark naked and kissing. OK, there is one thing hotter: seeing them eat each other out in the not so often employed (sadly) overhead lesbian sixtynine angle.
Back on track: NEWHALF NANPA runs a bit shorter at about two hours on the dot. We've five scenes, two bookended with two pairs of friends and three in the middle featuring one-on-one encounters (with Director Haruna of course in the background and often bringing herself into the scenes with her voice and later on with especially her skilled fingerbanging legerdemain). Some will prefer the edge scenes, some the middle where things are a bit quieter but in some ways allows for more experimentation because if there's one thing all seven women taking part don't have it's actual experiences with a newhalf. After all, there is a huge difference between being intimate with a run-of-the-mill boyfriend and an attractive woman who happens to have a functioning penis.
While we get full-on sex in about half the scenes, perhaps giving credence to the fact that both newhalf hosts were in transition, while we got hardness and even some action, big ejaculations or even the type of extended sex bouts found in heterosexual JAV are absent here. In other words, the penetration portions are pretty darn short. Don't go in hoping for ample footage of newhalf-on-woman, but do go in for all the wildness that leads to it and in pretty much all encounters, that's where this movie works especially well. As indicated above, there are more movies within this sub-series. We've already shown a more modern one filmed towards the tail end of the entire series and close to a half dozen are set to be released sooner than later, we hope.

-Some of the middle scenes go surprisingly fast from interview to dick in mouth.
