As SADISTIC VILLAGE continues--like most any JAV studio--their transition from one format of movies to another over time, we at ZENRA continue our own from carefully writing these reviews and creating human subtitles with A--kidding! On both fronts, actually. While things change over time, the core message of SADISTIC VILLAGE remains "light teasing" and we'll never succumb to our chat bot overlords by turning out inferior content at scale. Sure, while ITAZURA ONSEN and movies of its kind remain on ice for various reasons, I'm happy to see SV take the MAGIC MIRROR theme they have been using for some years and give it a location change. Gone is the familiar Tokyo backdrop. Now we're at the beach and who needs a truck when you've got some type of translucent sheets that can work just as well? After all, it's not really the vehicle or even the views that make these movies work, but the wild game show amateur theme.

And that's where we segue to STRING BIKINIS OPTIONAL! SUMMER QUIZ VACATION, a juicy release pushing four hours, starring a trio of easy on the eyes actresses who are all surprisingly pale for rocking the beach look, but hey, we all gotta start somewhere, right? I salute SV for taking a simple theme and not only making it work, but giving it their own spin. It's not perfect though: when you see a movie with 'QUIZ' in its title, you're gonna hope it contains some zingers, some questions that are real head-scratchers, but sadly this movie falls into the JAV trap of asking simple things such as "What's another name for the male anatomy?" I get it, this is that 'light teasing' studio and perhaps not everyone involved are the brightest bulbs, but how about something perhaps sexy, but a bit more esoteric but still JAV'y like being given a list of three weirdly long and specific titles and having to guess which actually is a JAV movie. You know, better than asking "What's a pussy called?"
Yes, I'm nitpicking because while QUIZ is in the movie's title, this is not almost four hours of partially naked Japanese women in insanely revealing bikinis answering easy questions. There are challenges aplenty involving sex toys, and later human body-attached sex toys (ie, that first question asked above). If you've seen how sex unfolds in SV movies--larger than life, Wild with a capital W, almost too many male ejaculations beyond the gift nature gave us, and so much squirting that oceans rising should remain the second greatest threat to humanity--then you should have an idea as to how each of the three scenes here unfolds.
It's hard to pick a favorite and I won't. Obviously in terms of bodies, we've an issue with the contestants in the first and third scenes both being pretty darn similar, but I forever believe it's less about looks and how they perform and that's where this movie really delivers: all encounters rock, all the women are loving life, loving the game, and thankfully for our intensive tissue-wasting purposes, love sex as much as--if not more than--life itself. Fortunately, SADISTIC VILLAGE made ample use of this location. One previous update already showed it in one scene and we've a few more on the way with beach themes that sadly will be shown sooner than later, but perhaps when showing JAV with beach themes is seen as not seasonable.
