When one hears the phrase "weird Japanese porn", there probably are various things that come to mind and I'm going to avoid spending much time going over the basics of the human psyche. Let's just say perhaps due to the mosaic, the Japanese behind some of the best adult video in the world also are behind some of the most creative adult video in the world. This goes extra for today's update that in some ways is both a parody and a reality movie like no other wrapped up into one bombastic production.

If you've been to Japan, you may be aware of a very famous women only performance group--nah, "group" is a bit too small given their status--performance conglomerate owned by a certain equally massive railway company for reasons that this review does not have time to cover. If you've been to any of their shows, held in Tokyo and not too far from Kobe, you may notice something somewhat interesting: those in attendance are almost entirely women (plus perhaps very odd otaku like this author who in fact loves their performances because holy heck do they go all out!). "Has there ever been a JAV about them?" Well, up until today's update via BULLITT, a Golden Age movie if there ever was one, the answer would be "no".

CROSS-DRESSING WOMEN ENTER A MALE BATHHOUSE sticks true to its name, but of course as noted above, "cross-dressing" here is done in the vein of one of those performers so think less outlandish makeup and huge beards and gosh knows what else and more of especially effeminate men with at most a wisp of facial hair above the upper lip. We get eight JAV stars (yes, they are JAV stars, not total randos) that are split into about four scenes. While I won't go over the flow of each on its own, I will note here that the first two are a bit tame as the flow only has them going into the bath, bathing, and then leaving. The latter two are where things go from simple to all out sex in the onsen.

Some may wonder if this is the real deal. Did BULLITT find an actual bathhouse in Tokyo where they can pull this stunt with real customers? Obviously, if you've seen SAUNA LADIES movies, then this is a location you've probably seen before. Thus, while perhaps apocryphal in execution, this still remains one of the most unusual but not too unusual JAV movies ever shot. It gets weird, but "sexy weird", not "I don't need tissues for this weird". All actresses also really nail the thin and cat-like look that works perfectly with the parody element noted earlier. Movies like this don't come around often and to the best of my knowledge, this is the only one ever shot with this specific theme. A rarity upon rarities and another example of JAV really thinking out of the box.
