Call it the bane of attempting to schedule a wide variety of updates from a decent number of JAV studios but please don't call it neglect. We really did not intend for fans of this great people monitoring series by HOT ENTERTAINMENT to wait almost a year to the day for its sequel and we'll do our best (no promises!) to push out the remaining 4 (!) at a faster pace.
Looking back, the first movie in PEOPLE MONITORING - WILL REAL STRANGERS GO FROM KISSING TO SEX? had a lot of positives going for it, but I feel male casting was a bit meh the first time around. When you have a new series, you darn well want to ensure the first scene in it really nails the concept. You want an easy on the eyes actress (check) and at the very least male talent that is functional. In that first scene of the first iteration, the woman was super cute, but man oh man was the dude awkward. I won't spend any more time mulling on the past and am happy to write that thankfully in KISSING TO SEX? 2 the studio played it super duper safe by casting you-know-who as the guy in the first scene. In fact, there's no real weak links this time around (alright, the guy in scene three really needs to consider manscaping and a diet).
Allow me to re-introduce the concept for new fans: find cute women walking around Tokyo (surprisingly common if you watch enough JAV), invite them to take part in one of those 'lifestyle surveys' magazines seem to conduct nonstop, and add a unique element in the form of a 'kissing challenge'. Would she OK with kissing a random stranger? Passionately? Not once, nor twice, but three times for a minute each time? This is JAV so obviously the answer is YES. But here's where the fun really begins: after the third kiss, the crew concocts an excuse to leave for an hour or so leaving these two alone. Rather than retiring temporarily to a nearby cafe while the staff supposedly get paperwork or whatever, JAV logic reigns supreme and they remain in the hotel room. Together. Alone. The result is obvious and the journey to get there is beautiful.
These types of movies that mix fantasy and reality, the type that focus on unique themes, not famous faces, especially beautiful bodies (because all six Japanese women are beautiful in their own way already) are the ones that have the most replay value. Sure, seeing RARA's or RIO's breasts flop around during a most powerful piston exercise has its own therapeutic effects, but where's the story? Where's the intrigue? Where's (at least a little bit) the reality? PEOPLE MONITORING movies are where it's at!
