Japanese women in kimonos. Beautiful Japanese women in beautiful kimonos. Having sex. It's a scenario that writes itself and given how easy it is to procure used ones, you'd think there would be more kimono JAV in the wild, but no! A type of uniform both traditional, a feast for the eyes, yet somehow rarely finding its way to JAV Land. Perhaps domestic fans just don't care as much? Or maybe more so while many an industry makeup artist may be talented also with wardrobe, few lack the ability to correctly put one on? (because they're not easy!)

DREAMROOM may not be known for super plot heavy titles and MAKI HOJO AND FRIENDS - MATURE WOMEN KIMONO ORGY is no exception. It's basically a simple one hour movie focused heavily on sex that features three couples doing it together in one big room. No more, no less, but sometimes simple is indeed best! And on the note of keeping it simple and by extension, short, we made an editorial decision to only list the 'headline' star in the title. Crediting all three that way would make the title simply too long, but don't disregard MAKI's costars for even a moment.

Firstly, by both age and pedigree, there's MARINA MATSUMOTO. Before working on this review, I spent some time doing research (yes, that's part of the job!) and it turns out she may be the longest performing JAV actress in the industry's history. The record to longest without breaks at this point forever will belong to YUMI KAZAMA, but interestingly, MARINA MATSUMOTO debuted in 1988 (!) and had a short career during Japan's peak bubble era years before retiring and only deciding to return almost two decades (!!) later in 2011 to only retire again a few years go. You have to wonder not necessarily why she initially decided to appear in JAV, but why after almost twenty years doing gosh knows what decided to return. It's a career trajectory that does not happen often.

MAKI and MARINA's other costar also desires praise aplenty. RYU ENAMI I've always considered the JAV version of Koyuki. They look similar. Like, really similar. If she did not appear in a movie somewhat emulating this, then time is of the essence! Then again, in today's update, one can make a claim it nails how Koyuki appeared in a certain 2003 samurai movie. Dare I say even though MAKI gets top casting both on ZENRA and originally on 1Pondo/PacoPacoMama, RYU was the one my eyes were glued to the most. She's probably the perfect example of 'oriental beauty'. A shame she shaves (slightly)!

MATURE WOMEN KIMONO ORGY is actually the sequel a previous update with REIKO KOBAYAKAWA headlining. They are a good match and yes, this one pretty much follows the format of the previous to a T. The storyline may be lacking, but the casting and visuals and multiple real creampies more than make up for it.
