One of the craziest things one sees after living in Japan so long is actually kind of economic: prices don't change much. Up until a few years ago, it was a given sales tax was 5% and it was baked into the price. Overnight, sadly, when it hiked to 8% and soon after to 10%, things volte-faced to the way it works in places like USA. One thing that still remains static seemingly are the prices of ho-hum apartments. Yes, tower mansions--new builds at least--may cost a pretty penny, but it's still possible to find OK places in semi-new buildings not too far from stations going for 50,000 yen.

That all leads to today's update via DREAMROOM that takes a trope most decidedly western almost akin to a 'lucky pizza boy' and 'sexy realtor' and give a pretty good JAV spin. Starring SHIZUKU ARITA, I REALLY NEED TO RENT THIS APARTMENT shows just how wanted apartments in great locations can be. While having a brutally short career given her curves and charisma bursting from start to conclusion, it's a blessing we even got a small handful of releases with today's update showing that even if you're shooting on a tight budget in tight quarters, you can still push out a fun product.

The plot, simple, the execution, not bad! SHIZUKU is far from lithe but that extra thick build (especially where it counts most!) makes her unique even in JAV and in a movie that features some especially good lighting choices, the ideal type of woman to cast. Did she nail the apartment or just the realtor? Is this really the place for her? It is kind of drab, but sometimes when you work long hours and are out often, it's location triumphing common sense. A fun title that does not break boundaries but could get one employee fired if discovered.
