こんにちは！This is jm84, a translator/subtitler for ZENRA! I have been a JAV enthusiast for 30 years now! My first exposure to JAV was when I was getting into anime in the 90s, I ended up watching a lot of hentai, and as the internet came to be, I ended up discovering JAV via the likes of Miki Sawaguchi (who I had the pleasure of meeting in 2023) and Madoka Ozawa. They’re contrasting bodies and looks showed me the diverse beauty of Japanese women. Japanese pop culture as a whole (including JAV) inspired me to study Japanese and wanting to come to Japan. I have been in Japan for 20 of the last 25 years, and have had the pleasure of meeting not just Miki Sawaguchi, but other legends throughout the years such as Emiri (Emily) Yoshikawa, Akane Hotaru (RIP), Kei Megumi, Izumi Mana, Haruna Hana, and Miharu Izawa. All being pleasant experiences in their own ways.

Not only that she is beautiful and stunning, but has a genuine sense of approachability.

I say it makes it very relatable. No matter where we’re from or what we speak, sex is something to take pleasure in.
What role does chemistry play in whether you enjoy a JAV video?
I say it’s all about the relatability. When you see a certain actor with a pretty woman, it’s easy to project yourself onto that actor and make yourself believe you can be with such a woman.
What part of JAV fandom do you enjoy most outside of just watching videos?
How easily you can meet them in certain events in Japan, especially in Akihabara
