Mei Washio Is In Deep Trouble With Her Agency!

Something seems abnormal with Mei Washio, and honestly, the more I looked into it, the more suspicious it got.

Recently, I was browsing through the website of her modeling agency, which most of you likely know as 8MAN, and something strange hit me. Mei Washio’s profile was nowhere to be seen.

At first, I thought maybe I had missed something. So I checked the agency’s official X account.

Interestingly, actresses like Rara Anzai, Maria Hoshi, and Hikaru Nagi were still being tagged, even though some hadn’t released new work in quite a while. But even there, no mention of Mei Washio. Nothing at all.

Naturally, it led me to her social media accounts. I opened her X account, then Instagram, only to discover that both had been completely cleared. Okay, now this was getting interesting.

Apparently, Mei herself had shared an Instagram Story explaining the situation before wiping her social media. The original statement was fairly long, so let’s focus on the important points.

For starters, Mei made it clear that she was proud of what she had accomplished in the JAV industry so far. Moreover, she was nearly finished with her filming commitments for the year. Based on her own statement, she may have completed around 15 or 16 JAVs. That’s a substantial amount of work. Third, once those projects were finished, she planned to seriously consider her future.

And then came the revelation that really caught my attention. Mei expressed sadness that her hard work hadn’t been rewarded as she had hoped. She wanted to continue her career in an environment where she felt genuinely valued and appreciated.

If an actress says she’s proud of her work but feels that her efforts have gone in vain and her name suddenly disappears from her agency’s website and social media, it’s not difficult to understand why people would start connecting the dots.

The final screenshot also appears to clarify one important distinction: according to the statement, her dissatisfaction was directed at her agency, rather than the production company.

Of course, we don’t know the full details of what happened between the two sides, so it would be premature to treat every assumption as fact. But the signs certainly suggest that their relationship has run into trouble. Fortunately, Mei hasn’t explicitly announced her retirement. That’s probably the most encouraging part of this whole situation.

She still has projects to finish, and she says she’ll think carefully about her next move afterward. If her agency can communicate with her, resolve the disagreement, and make her feel valued again, perhaps they can continue working together. But if that goes in vain, then I think a change of agency is a very real possibility.

Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if Mei Washio eventually signs with another agency.
