JAV Hall of Fame - Inductees - Class of 2018

Alright guys back at it with another Hall of Fame post. This one is the spiciest one yet with a bunch of heavy hitters. Did they all do as well as you think? Let's go find out.

Okay let's be real, there was no way Yui wouldn't make it, right? She is as close to a unanimous GOAT actress as there is. She's among the favourites of basically everyone, which is not hard given she's put out more videos than literally anyone else. Sure, she isn't putting out 200 videos a year anymore, but I don't know anyone who is, and doing that more than once in the first place is insane. She's been everywhere, she's synonymous with JAV, she is Mrs. JAV. She absolutely deserves to be on this list and I'm proud to announce Yui Hatano has been inducted into the Hall of Fame!

Rei Mizuna is our second inductee on the list. If there's anyone that gave JAV the reputation of being weird, Rei is the one. I mean, she literally had people cum on her eyeball... But as the internet says, rule 34 exists for a reason, and with that come the fans. People adored Rei for being such a versatile actress, and those who remember her remember her oh so fondly. Welcome to the Hall of Fame, Rei Mizuna!

Our third entry to the HoF is Yui's other half Hibiki Otsuki. While Hibiki is certainly part of the famous duo hibihata she is equally an impressive actress on her own. She has tons and tons of videos behind her too, has done a lot of different stuff, and continues to be a household name. At over 15 years in the industry and one of the highest video counts ever, it's absolutely no surprise to see her make it in. Welcome to the Hall of Fame, Hibiki Otsuki!

As usual here is the voting results for this time around. As you can see, all three safely made it in and Yui/Rei tied at 10 votes each.

I think a lot of people expected Hitomi to make it in but as you can see she only got around half the votes, tied with Ai Sayama and Kirara Asuka. This is only her first ballot and it was a stacked ballot with both Yui and Hibiki in it. There's also still plenty of time if we get a mediocre ballot in a future year.

What is interesting to me is Yui Hatano not being a unanimous vote. If anyone watches baseball and saw what happened with Ichiro, I have the same thoughts here. I can't begin to explain how baffling it is that someone elected not to vote for Yui. If ever there was anyone who deserved to be enshrined it would be her. What would she have to do for you to vote for her, do a KV release with real DP creampies? Sure, she still made it in, but I basically figure nobody is going to get a 100% vote in the future. There's maybe one name I can think of but aside from that one name this is as good as it will likely get.
