Former S1 Idol QUITS JAV Before Her Fourth Anniversary!

Just two days ago, I was talking about Rei Kimura’s sudden retirement. One of the finer MILFs in the current Madonna batch. Now, shortly after that, another familiar name has announced that retiring from filming JAVs. It’s none other than Minami Maeda, guys!

The 24-year-old, through a handwritten message on X, announced that she has finished all of her adult-video filming and has also left her agency, ListarPro.

Minami noted in her tweet that during the nearly four years since her debut with S1, she had received tremendous support from her fans, the production staff, and everyone at her agency. Without this career, she says, she would never have met so many people or experienced so many things, and those memories, she explained, are among the most precious things she is taking with her. But Minami didn’t stop there. She plans to continue updating her social media, and once she decides what she wants to do next, she’ll let her fans know.

Minami had quite a career to look back on. In October 2022, she made her debut under S1’s JAV “Newcomer NO.1STYLE: Minami Maeda’s AV Debut.” With her idol background, 166 cm height, and E-cup figure, she immediately looked like exactly the kind of high-profile newcomer S1 could build around.

Then fans started catching up to her idol persona, and that’s when her popularity really took off.

In the meantime, Minami released photo books, appeared in increasingly ambitious JAVs, and under S1’s direction, gradually developed into what could almost be called a “golden goose”

But just when it seemed she was settling into the S1, she had other plans. Minami hopped studios, and she took on a much more aggressive release strategy. She even filmed an unrestricted scene for Honchu before turning a freelancer ultimately.

Once an actress becomes a kikatan, the pressure can be enormous. From July 2023 onward, she continued working for roughly another three years. Looking at her release history and how well she maintained herself throughout that period, you can tell she put in an incredible amount of effort. And now she’s decided to leave on a high note before reaching her fourth anniversary. In my opinion, that’s actually a pretty fitting ending.
