FANZA JAV Rankings 2025: Second Half
Top 10
Kanna Seto completes the sweep of both halves with the #1 ranking. I don’t need to go on; enough has been said about Kanna’s ascension. Saika Kawakita goes at #3, falling to Miyu Aizawa and more on her later. Ichika Matsumoto proves that she is still part of the top of the top at #9, with her turn to exclusivity not hurting her much. Meanwhile, Yui Hatano’s extra thickness proves to be very popular among fans. A lot of people like plus-size ladies and Yui is proving that right now. Freelancing has been good to her and Karin Kitaoka, who jumps up to #6.
FANZA Interviewer: You’ve consistently ranked first on FANZA since your debut. Do you pay attention to rankings?
Kanna Seto: I don’t really look at the rankings (laughs). It’s not about trying to do well or aiming for a specific position—I just like the feeling of having something rewarding to chase and running straight through it.
Then we have Mina Kitano, who didn’t even place in the Top 100 in the first half. She skyrockets all the way into #10. The biggest change for Mina in the second half is her return to Freelancing which fits her so well. Mina has improved year by year as an actress and looks better and more confident than ever. She said she was going to ride against the new wave of Exclusives and she’s riding high right now.
Biggest Jumps
Now, to see the biggest jumps from the first half to the second half. I am glad to see Aika Yamagishi jump up from #61 to #21, the biggest jump from last time. This is certainly because of the surprise retirement, but Aika also made a ton of great videos for her final year. Very deserving. Speaking deserving more attention, we have Riho Shishido, who goes up from #41 to #12. A bit of a surprise, but Riho earns all of it with her phenomenal performing and release rate. She is absolutely thriving as a Freelancer. Other big jumpers include Konatsu Kashiwagi (#33->11), Rikka Ono (#61->21), Rima Arai (#56->23), and Himari Kinoshita (#38->14).
Biggest Drops
Now for the opposite with the biggest droppers. Drops can happen for a lot of reasons, from actresses on breaks, body changes, or that fans just aren’t interested in their videos’ themes. Miyu Kohinata drops from #3 to #19, a sizable fall. Miyu definitely has superstar potential with her very adorable face and very well-endowed body, but she’s been a bit middling as a performer so far in my opinion. Ren Gojo dives from #13 to #70; perhaps that has to do with her change from S1 to Moodyz in the mid-year. I can’t quite understand why Mary Tachibana dropped from #50 to #86. While Mary is great, her videos’ themes haven’t enticed me too much. A shame considering she is retiring soon. Other big drops include Moe Sakakibara (#10->59), Hana Kuraki (#54->85), Nao Jinguji (#36->75), and Iyo Shinohara (#21->56).
Nanami Kodama Drama?
Now this drop was so big it, that it smelled to high heaven. Nanami Kodama shocked me when she placed #9 in the first half and she shocked me again when she fell all the way down to #100. The biggest drop from the halves. This is where I get conspiracy brain because she has also been vocal about her poor management and low earnings despite her popularity. She was reduced to a footnote in the magazine last time and is now all the way into the triple digits. Did S1 or her agency ask FANZA magazine to suppress her name for bad mouthing them, or does this writer need to take off their tinfoil hat?

Where all the Girls at?
If you think being on the low end of the Top 100 is bad, then think again, because it is competitive out there. These ladies are going up against hundreds and hundreds of other actresses and there are some very big omissions to this list. Julia is the biggest omission and surprise, going from #44 to off the list. She’s been a favorite among fans for years a year now. Could her time be finally over, or is this just a blip? Rankings for Milfs are always on the lower end, as Yuna Shiina, Ryo Ayumi, and Nami Okimiya also find themselves out.
Not a surprise is Ai Hongo, former #16 and Nagi Hikaru #37 being off the list. Both were showing their staying power, but fans are starved for new videos of them. For Ai fans, sadly, this seems very unlikely as S1 released a compilation video with her tagged as retired. Meanwhile, Nagi fans might have some hope in the future. Other notable disappearances from the list include Riko Hoshino, Hime Hayasaka, and Alice Otsu.
New to the Second half
Some names disappeared and others appeared. There was, of course, Mina Kitano, but also Rei Kuroshima at #18, Sana Mashiro #24, Yuika Onosaka #28, and Ako Kimura #37. Rei has found another gear and I’ve become more interested in her title choices as well. Meanwhile, Yuki Takeuchi #33 earns every bit of her ranking. She has been making banger after banger; she just looks better and better. Mitsuri Nagahama pops back in at #43 and is one of the top rankers from Idea Pocket. While she is plenty popular, I have to say her videos have been a bit of a disappointment.

Top-selling videos
The top-selling videos were dominated by Kanna Seto’s face over and over again. It was her and Moodyz in the Top 25 best-selling titles. Mainly new debuts, as they always sell well. Like getting a rookie card, people just like checking out the new hotness. SOD pops in with their newbies with the Taiwanese debut of Itsuki Saisai and Nano Ogasawara. Bako Bus 2025 also makes an appearance at #13.
Read the full list on Fanza magazine here. We’ll be following this up with a look at Miyu Aizawa’s interview with FANZA. Look out for that.
