Should fans even take Yuki Takeuchi seriously anymore? Honestly, last year she said she was extending her career for another year?

Just last year, while appearing on ABEMA’s famous dating reality show, Yuki explained her decision rather simply: “Due to various reasons, I’ve decided to extend it for one year.”

The obvious theory back then was that Yuki simply wanted a little more financial backing before moving on from JAV. Whatever the reason, nobody was complaining; if anything, fans were delighted that they would get another year with this hottie.

And it seems like Yuki made pretty good use of that extra time. Yuki has freelanced for most parts of her career now, going the Sumire Mizukawa route and trying to land overseas gigs. All this for financial recovery, plain and simple.

Her appearance at the Taiwan Adult Expo last year certainly added fuel to that theory. Some fans even speculated that she might headline one of the days, giving her another opportunity to earn while expanding her presence overseas.

Well, that additional year has now passed. And Yuki has finally put rumors to rest. Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “After seven years as the actress Yuki Takeuchi, I’ve reached a turning point in my career. To everyone I’ve met along the way, and to everyone who has continued to support me: ‘Thank you.’ I wanted to create a place where I could express these feelings directly, so I’m hosting an event at Zushi Beach. And one more thing. From now on, as NAO, I’ll be fully dedicating myself to activities that promote health, fitness, and the ‘will to live.’ So on this day, it’s not a ‘goodbye,’ but rather, ‘Let’s stay in touch!’ I’d be so happy if this day turned out that way!!!”

So, there you have it, readers! After seven years as Yuki Takeuchi, she’s ready to leave that name behind and begin again as NAO.

What I find interesting is that she hasn’t mentioned anything about retiring from JAV. Instead, she seems determined to make it clear that this is a transition rather than an exit.

The Zushi Beach event will apparently be her chance to meet everyone one more time as Yuki before introducing herself in this new role. And the direction she has chosen is certainly interesting: health, fitness and the “will to live,” because given her background as an aesthetic athlete, she was more inclined towards this niche after JAV. Yes, I know that’s quite a leap from her career we’ve followed for the past seven years. But perhaps that’s exactly the point.

Yuki has spent enough time holding down her JAV career. Now she seems ready to build something for herself beyond regular runs to a JAV set. So here’s to her new avatar! Whatever this next chapter brings, I think her fans will be watching closely.

It is so unfair what happened with Mei Itsukachi

Mei Itsukaichi’s recent fan event was temporarily suspended after organizers discovered that someone had allegedly arrived at the venue carrying cameras. Unfortunately, things escalated to the point that authorities were involved.

Her agency subsequently issued a statement describing the event: “Thank you for your continued support of our actresses. Unfortunately, during yesterday’s Mei Itsukaichi event, we faced some disruption. The event was temporarily suspended, and the situation escalated to the point where authorities were involved"

"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to the fans present at the venue. Moving forward, with the actress' safety as our top priority, we have decided to postpone the Akihabara event scheduled for August 25. Our company absolutely does not tolerate such acts without permission"

Honestly, such strict measures are nothing new if you’ve been to one such JAV event. Fan events are supposed to be a chance for actresses to meet their fans in a controlled and comfortable environment. Once a fan has other intentions and sneaks stuff into the venue without permission, the situation becomes completely different.

Here is Mei's account of the same.

She addressed the incident on X, “The event has been temporarily suspended while we address an incident involving a particular visitor. Such behavior could lead to the cancellation of the event and cause inconvenience to others, so please refrain from doing so. We apologize to everyone who has been kept waiting.”

That’s probably the most frustrating part of it. The actions of one fan ended up affecting everyone else who had actually followed the rules and simply wanted to meet the actress.

People had presumably traveled to the event, waited their turn, and paid a fee to participate. Suddenly, everything had to stop, and now the August 25 Akihabara event has been postponed as well.

Personally, I think that’s the right decision. Once something like this happens, the priority has to be the safety of the actress, staff, and attendees. There’s no reason to rush back into another event until organizers are confident they can prevent a repeat.

Mei’s agency has also made its position very clear: filming won’t be tolerated, and if similar behavior occurs again, they are prepared to involve the relevant authorities. Hopefully, that’s enough to discourage anyone else from trying something similar.

For Mei Itsukaichi and the fans who were caught up in this mess, I hope the next event goes ahead without any problems. After all, everyone came there to have a good time.

It shouldn’t be too much to ask for people to respect the rules.
