2024 Debut Review - Shio Asami

Shio Asami is someone I was excited about when I saw her debut cover only to be disappointed when I realized she had fake boobs. Fast forward to now: I skipped watching her during the main course and honestly had no intentions to watch her. However, when I was told she was good and she transferred to Idea Pocket, I felt like that was enough of a sign.

Facially I felt like she was kind of whatever. She doesn't turn heads, for better or worse. That is to say, I won't look away but I won't turn around and ask who that was. It's fine, it gets the job done, I won't remember it in a week. She does strike me as this like pre-milf stage so maybe in 5 years I'll have a different tune about it.

Shio's boobs were just okay. Size-wise they were on the mark, they were rather big. She also had very nice nipples, they were quite girthy if I'm being honest about them. The shape left a little to be desired at times as they weren't quite bolt-ons but they also weren't natural. You could see the unnatural fullness to them on her back among other signs of some knife work (though whatever work was done there wasn't any visible scarring). You could also tell by how little they jiggled and how much they bounced as a unit. I found myself conflicted a lot by them as one view would be bad and then the next would be fantastic. I do think that maybe over time I would become more accepting of them and maybe up them a point, but I don't think they have top tier potential.

Shio's ass was a little underwhelming I think. Her hips didn't seem particularly wide nor did her ass seem particularly big, and there was basically no arch from her either. I think especially next to those big fake tits you kind of expected (or at least wanted) a sizeable ass to combo with it. It didn't quite suit her well enough and it was significantly downplayed.

Shio's paizuri ranged from being fairly good to mediocre. Sometimes she knew what to do, properly between her tits and doing her thing, or even just rubbing it against her nipples. She maintained fairly good eye contact too. Other times her paizuri was mediocre rubbing against the front and not really paying attention. I would say it was more good than bad but paizuri also comes a bit natural to someone with boobs her size.

Shio's moaning wasn't particularly good. It had a lot of randomness to it where it varied on a lot of forms of, well, not good. Sometimes the moaning wasn't too heavy but most of the time it really didn't do itself any justice, and there were plenty of times with that generic high-pitched whiny stuff we all know and hate.

Shio's enthusiasm was really lacking and a big source of why I disliked her performing. For a video that's her cheating on her sister with the boyfriend she really fumbled the bag. Very little in the way of any expression from her, as if her face was made of plastic and couldn't change. Even when her sister almost caught them together in the shower there was basically nothing from her, like she was looking up from reading her book or something dumb.

Shio Asami lives with her sister and one day the boyfriend stays the night. One thing leads to another and the two of them start banging.

I say it time and time again but this style of video done by anyone other than Oppai is always disappointing. I don't even know why I watch them and yet here I am again. Sure, it tried to be risky at times, with a risky night paizuri or almost getting caught in the shower. But when that's the extent of the risky action it's going to fall short. Very short. It just doesn't capture the essence of what makes this good when your sex scenes are all off in the other room. Show the girlfriend in the background preparing food or something. Like there's just so many ways to do it rather than three random sex scenes that leave out the theme completely. Like ah, your girlfriend went to bed and her sister is looking hot with just her towel on after her bath, great. Like of course I see how it's supposed to be hot and all but like, it just doesn't cut it. Especially if the actress doesn't light up with a stellar performance, it just turns bad into worse.

Shio's career has surprisingly taken off quite nicely after being mediocre. Going from Dahlia to Idea Pocket seems like a huge plus, and it was enough to get me to watch her. I think a lot of other things don't really stand out as a lot of the variety seems mediocre and there aren't a lot of my favourite themes or tropes (keeping in mind that this sister cheating theme is always done poorly if it's not Oppai doing it). That being said, that's partially the fault of Dahlia and her being new still, and I expect things to go significantly better while she's at Idea Pocket. It does also come with a name change interestingly enough but hey, whatever works.

Overall Shio seems quite mediocre to me. She reminds me of a reverse Rin Hachimitsu, going from Faleno Group to Idea Pocket and being very plasticy. I do physically like Shio more than Rin but keep in mind I did not much care for Rin and haven't bothered with her since the initial review. Also keep in mind I have a very healthy boob bias and Shio's are much bigger than Rin's. Shio isn't someone I anticipate watching again but Idea Pocket is following other studios with some banger videos. We just got a trio release for OFES that had three actresses I liked, and if one of them had been Shio there still would have been a decent chance of me watching it. So maybe there's a world where Shio is someone I watch again, and maybe she's someone that grows on me as she learns to perform or gets some maturity. It's not like I dislike her, but the industry is crowded with so many nice women these days that this does not cut it.
