Mao being touched in public simply walking around regardless of her main line on work is wrong. Conversely, the DJ Soda controversy from a few months ago which has some similarities has way more shades of gray.

Yes and no. Western actresses usually have to do more on their own, but have way more control over their image. Studios may pay JAV stars more on paper, but agencies take a huge cut. The take-home for a day's work (let's say 2 sex scenes and 2-3 foreplay-type scenes) for a western star and JAV star after agency cuts is probably not far off from each other.

When it comes to actress happenings--real or rumors--our writing staff knows way more than I do. Pretty much all my industry relations are between studios (signing licensing contracts and receiving data basically). But yea, rumor hat on, Dubai is a big tourist location but it's not necessarily one I can imagine your average Japanese person being interested in going to. Thus, if she really is there, given the overall rumors surrounding influencers and the like going there as 'guests' of rich residents...
