Mizuna Wakatsuki - Temptation Salon

Usually when a JAV studio finds a concept that sells, they'll milk it.  They'll milk it hard and keep at it until it just doesn't make any financial sense to keep producing them.  After all, even the best of ideas may have their expiration dates.  Fantastic concepts that fans love for now may grow tiresome in the future.  Thankfully, we're still not at peak hair salon Japanese AV, but could today's update push us over the edge or is there still more ground to cover?

About half a year ago, we showed our first entry in DREAM TICKET's TEMPTATION SALON series (actual Japanese name has Temptation and Salon separated by a lot of Engrish that we shortened somewhat).  While our outing with IAN HANASAKI wasn't the first in the series, it still is very solid and has proved to be rather popular with our subscribers.  When we made that licensing order last year with them, we had the acumen to select another from the same series--this one starring the curvy MIZUNA WAKATSUKI (who recently switched agencies and renamed herself to MIINA WAKATSUKI.

Is today's iteration of TEMPTATION SALON better or worse than the previous one?  This one's up to you, really.  This author at least slightly prefers the IAN HANASAKI version as she's a bit more up my alley looks-wise and the salon they filmed at was on the ground floor so you actually saw real passersby in the background making for some insanely risky filming.  The salon used in MIZUNA's title  I honestly first thought was a JAV set due to it looking somewhat sparse and closed off.  However, while some sets can be rather formidable, I can't imagine any studio going the limit and then some with multiple shampoo stations that do actually work.  My take:  just like the IAN HANASAKI salon, this one's also real and perhaps was filmed on an off day.

If you love JAV titles that push real risky sex to its limits--in other words are fans of our public nudity releases but yearn for more modern filming, then today's update should satisfy your needs to some extent.  Sure, it's filmed in one location indoors.  Sure, I'm nigh on positive that everyone in the salon was 'in on it', but the concept itself is sound.  I can't imagine this really happening in Japan.  I mean tips don't exist here so there's really no reason for a beautiful hair stylist to secretly give handjobs, blowjobs, and more.  It's hard to fathom the risks she and her client would take to have all-out sex with only a pillar separating her from her coworker.  But that's what makes adult video great:  taking one's fantasies and doing one's darndest to make them real given pesky social constraints.

As of writing this, we're about a month or two away from making another licensing order with the WAAP group (their parent company distributes for DREAM TICKET along with a few other JAV studios).  While we know this series has popularity, we're still on the fence as to getting more.  I'll admit here and now that due to the somewhat guerrilla nature of filming, subtitling this title was not easy.  While it didn't have tons of dialog, there were many times where the microphones used along with the same classical melody on repeat made it hard to discern what was being said.  So on that note, will MIZUNA WAKATSUKI's time with us at the TEMPTATION SALON be the last entry at ZENRA?  We shall see and some thought *will* be given on this.  Either way, we'll keep on picking out unique titles that do wonders in showing just how awesome Japanese AV can be.
