Every region of the world that actually produces adult video has its strengths and weaknesses and Japan is no different.  We know the biggest one is obviously mosaic being placed on top of genitalia (and yes, there are uncensored titles as well, but that's a story for another day).  To balance this potential minus, even big name AV stars can really pull off the 'submissive and embarrassed' role way better than their non-Japanese peers.  And this goes double for real amateurs put in situations that may not be all out sexual, but still erotic enough to warrant pesky mosaic and uncontrolled arousal.

We're not sure if the ENF genre had its start in Japan or it was already done somewhere else beforehand, but these last few years has seen a huge uptick in Japanese AV titles with this theme.  Adult video no longer has to be all-out sexual (though of course sex still sells better than anything else!).  We've seen titles where even nudity is totally lacking and not too long ago, we pushed out a gargantuan six-hour release that simply featured solo Japanese women embarrassingly stripping naked while allowing the camera to zoom in perilously close to their most private parts.

That 240 minute release was pushed out by RADIX, a production company whom we have been on great terms with these last few years.  Fortunately, their embarrassment-themed titles are rather popular and they keep on pushing them out every couple of months.  Of course the tried and true theme of 'strip stark naked and show your body' had to have its origins somewhere and today we may have that potential genesis piece for your viewing pleasure.

In STARK NAKED JAPANESE CALLIGRAPHY, six Japanese amateurs take turns practicing their shodou skills.  What starts out as just your average writing sessions becomes increasingly more perverted and prurient as each scene runs its course.  Stripping is obvious, but given the mildly phallic shape of a brush, its way of being 'held' segues from hands to mouths to feet and yes, to vaginas as well.  The final volunteer goes one step further by sticking it into her anus while writing out something excessively naughty.

Surprisingly this is a Japanese AV title that stays awfully true to its name by keeping calligraphy a central theme for the bulk of each scene.  Only in the final few minutes is calligraphy somewhat set aside so the off-camera director can help coat each amateur's private area for special imprints.  This again serves as the groundwork to the anus impressions used in that huge title we released last August.

Our only major gripe about STARK NAKED CALLIGRAPHY was that it was all done in one rather barren room.  A more traditional Japanese backdrop compared to the modern-day bachelor pad with no furniture would have been a major plus.  Also each scene followed almost the same exact format so admittedly this was slightly tedious to work on from a subtitling standpoint.

Now that we got that off our chests we can safely say we found all six women to be very pert in that way only bona fied amateurs can be.  Each had their charms and it was nice to see such a wide variety in ages:  the youngest was 20 and the most senior was only a few years shy of 40 (but looked fantastic!).  All the women came off as embarrassed, yet approachable if you met them in real life so if you're big on girls-next-door, we think you'll very much enjoy the talent in today's ENF update.
